Description
The IoT Technician – Smart City is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining IoT devices used in smart city infrastructure such as smart lighting, environmental sensors, smart meters, surveillance systems, solid-waste monitoring units, and connected public utilities. The technician works on-field, collaborates with municipal bodies and system integrators, ensures adherence to safety standards, performs device diagnostics, and documents installation and maintenance activities. The role demands understanding of IoT networks, communication protocols, sensor technologies, power supply systems, and field safety.
