Based on the national education model of Skills, Intern, Credit, it has been designed to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with the necessary awareness, guidance and support systems to acquire practical job skills along with academic studies and convert those skills into skill credits.
Acquiring knowledge and abilities through NSQF-aligned course training, which includes both theory sessions and practical lab activities.
Enhancing skills through experiential learning such as internships, apprenticeships, On-the-Job Training (OJT), or community work, often accompanied by a stipend or paid engagement.
Formal recognition of total learning hours (academic + skill + experiential) as credits, stored in the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) and counted towards the FYUGP degree/diploma.
